Become A Director
Our Directors love to network to build their businesses! They also value the
concept of doing it both virtually and with a local presence! This
networking stimulates their business as well as builds their personal
network. It also has the ability to generate some additional income.
Director 's Role:
Ø Leads and
inspires chapter. A role model and respected leader in the business
community
Ø Attends
and participates in networking functions in order to make new
connections
and grow the YSN database
Ø Sources
and recruits new members
Ø Coordinates and hosts monthly YSN events
Ø Establishes a primarily local network that has weekly virtual meetings
Ø Sells exhibitor/display tables and local sponsorships
Ø Invites public speakers to monthly events
Ø Director is an Independent Contractor and not an employee
Responsibilities of a Director:
1.
Coordinate, manage, host and promote monthly YSN events in your city, in
a manner
approved and specified by the corporate office
2. Create and
constantly update a data base of business owners and professionals
for
exclusively communicating authorized YSN information
3. Locate a
private club, restaurant, or hotel property with the capacity to
accommodate 20-100 participants monthly as well as 5 -15 display tables
and a
stage for vendors who purchase tables
4. Establish
a 7-10 person Leadership Team consisting of PR, marketing,
registration,
and event greeters to assist with marketing and promoting the monthly
events
5. Promote
these monthly events and build membership by attending other events in
your city and engaging the Leadership Team in chapter promotion
activities
6. Coordinate
and manage all aspects of the event registration process, which include
but is not limited to fielding all telephone calls, creating nametags,
posting event
signage, display table set-up, etc.
7. Source,
book and coordinate local speakers for the events
8. Ensure
that chapter sponsors a minimum of two new members each month
9. Welcome
and provide support to new members
10. Maintain
standards and procedures established and modified as set forth by the
YSN corporate office
Annual Compensation possible by achieving
performance requirements is approximately 15K plus:
1.
Lead and
inspire chapter
2.
Secure
Annual local sponsorships
3.
Recruit 15
- 20 new members a year
4.
Produce
monthly “Accelerated Networking” event with 20 or more attendees and

display tables.
5.
Produce
two (2) Strategic Business Introduction Sessions each month with 12
attendees
6.
Produce
Breakfast networking events about once every 90 days with new
attendees
7.
Produce
one (1) “members only” event approximately once a quarter

The gain as a
Director of your own group is much higher than being a regular member of any
other networking group. Your time spent will be approximately two hours per
week, which consists of 1 ½ hours to run your meeting and ½ hour to promote and
send out weekly reminders to your group.
